This custom new build is situated to take advantage of a unique hillside site with significant granite ledge deposits.

Substantial sitework was necessary to prepare for a foundation, as well as for a geothermal system. Our clients chose geothermal as both a green solution, as well as for future financial planning as they transition into retirement. The initial investment will be included in the overall project budget and then provide year-round heating and cooling at little additional cost for the lifespan of the system. Other green features include solar panels and a heat recovery ventilator (HRV), HEPA air filtration system.  

Shingle details reference the home’s coastal village location and low horizontal steps transition from grade to a breezeway which connects the garage with the main house. The first floor is largely open plan, allowing flexibility for gatherings of both large and small groups. A primary suite is also located on the first level allowing our clients to age in place. Upstairs, two additional bedrooms, a second bathroom and bonus space ensures that this coastal retreat can sleep a crew.
