A Generational Farmhouse

Having been transferred to the next generation, this family home was in need of updates throughout. A reorganization of interior spaces has allowed for a more open plan suited to modern living. An addition houses a library with lofted reading nook, sure to be enjoyed by the farmhouse’s newest stewards who are devoted readers and specifically requested we not plan for a television in the main living areas! Screened and covered porches, board and batten and standing seam roofs amped up farmhouse details while not distracting from the home’s original form.
